Tafheem-ul-Quran (En) - Al-Qasas : 55
وَ اِذَا سَمِعُوا اللَّغْوَ اَعْرَضُوْا عَنْهُ وَ قَالُوْا لَنَاۤ اَعْمَالُنَا وَ لَكُمْ اَعْمَالُكُمْ١٘ سَلٰمٌ عَلَیْكُمْ١٘ لَا نَبْتَغِی الْجٰهِلِیْنَ
And when they heard vain talk, 78 they withdrew from it, saying, "Our deeds are for us and your deeds are for you: peace be on you: we do not seek the way of the ignorant."
78 The reference is to the "vain talk" that Abu Jahl and his men had with the Christians from Habash, as mentioned in E.N. 72 above.
