Maarif-ul-Quran (En) - Yaseen : 19
قَالُوْا طَآئِرُكُمْ مَّعَكُمْ١ؕ اَئِنْ ذُكِّرْتُمْ١ؕ بَلْ اَنْتُمْ قَوْمٌ مُّسْرِفُوْنَ
They said, "Your bad omen is with yourselves. (Do you take it as bad omen) if you are given a good counsel? Rather, you are a people who cross all limits."
The sense of the statement: قَالُوا طَائِرُ‌كُم مَّعَكُمْ (They said, "Your bad omen deeds.' The word: طَایٔر (ta'ir) essentially denotes bad omen or misfortune and, on occasions, it is also used to refer to the effects of misfortune, that is, wretchedness. Here, this is what it means.
